SEE TOP 100 Banks includes the largest banks in Southeastern Europe, taking into account the assets at the end of the year 2021.
Banca Transilvania ended the year 2021 with figures above the market average in terms of lending, as well as operational volumes. Through the results obtained, the bank confirmed its contribution to the relaunch of the economy. Details are in this press release.
We maintained our optimism and commitment to contribute to the revival of the Romanian economy, to support our clients. It was a period in which we financed the population and companies, we increased the volume of operations carried out through the bank. Currently, we are at about 20% of the banking market in Romania, and in some segments we have a significantly larger market share. At the same time, with the rise of inflation and interest rates, we preferred to be proactive ourselves with the increase of deposit interest rates – thus we managed to maintain an appropriate trend of resources, but also to retain clients. Ömer Tetik, General Director, Banca Transilvania.
