News regarding access to the Business Lounge with BT premium cards

Starting from July 1, 2026, the conditions for free access to business lounges in Romania (Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest) are updated for the premium cards of Banca Transilvania.

Through this update, we maintain the benefit of premium cards and correlate it more clearly with card usage.

For Gold cards (Mastercard Gold, Star Gold, Visa Business Gold debit & credit):

• access is available up to 4 free entries/card/year
• entries can be used individually or together with a guest

Free access is available if, in the last 30 days, you have made payments of at least 3,000 lei with BT cards.

Each access consumes one ticket, and in the case of access with a guest two tickets are consumed.

Exception for the year 2026: the 4 entries are applicable during the period 1 July – 31 December.

For Platinum and BT Flying Blue Premium cards:

• access remains unlimited
• is available for the holder and one guest

The condition for free access is making payments of at least 5,000 lei in the last 30 days, with BT cards.

If these conditions are not met or the free entries are exhausted, access to business lounges remains available for a fee.

Good to know:

• entries are accumulated for customers who hold multiple eligible cards
• the BT benefits can be combined with those offered by Visa or Mastercard
• holders of supplementary cards benefit from their own entries
• the turnover is calculated at the client level, from all BT cards
• Taxes for additional access to Business Lounge:
  • Henri Coandă Bucharest International Airport – 200 lei/access/person
  • Cluj-Napoca International Airport – 75 lei/access/person
