Ilie Năstase is the main character in NASTY, a documentary film that presents his remarkable life and career, as well as his influence on international tennis. Released in 2024 in over 20 countries, with a special screening at the Cannes Film Festival (2024), the HBO Documentaries Europe and Libra Films co-production is also supported by Banca Transilvania.
Ilie Năstase made tennis history in the 1970s and 1980s, winning titles at the US Open, Roland Garros, and Wimbledon. He was the first tennis player to top the ATP rankings in 1973 and is one of the few players in history to have won over 100 titles.
