How to turn expenses from abroad into money for your company
Business trips come with many challenges: meetings, presentations, networking. But do you know what most entrepreneurs forget? The VAT from external expenses.
Over 70% of SMEs in Romania do not recover VAT from transactions made for business purposes, outside the country. This means lost money, money that could remain in your company.
Why should you care?
Whether you pay for accommodation, transport, or conference participation, VAT is included in the costs. And the good news? You can easily recover it without headaches if you have a business card from BT.
From which countries can you recover VAT?
All countries in the European Union, as well as other countries that allow VAT reimbursement for foreign companies. Practically, if you make business expenses outside Romania, it is worth checking.
